Film Description

Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Anna Fitch, and showman, Chicken John, originally conceived of ScrapHouse: San Francisco as a way of bringing material reuse onto the cultural mainstage. A team of architects, builders, engineers and volunteers were assembled to see the project to fruition. In the documentary, Fitch tracks the 6-week development and implementation of the project on film, all the way from conceptual design down to the last nail. The documentary originally aired on the National Geographic Channel and is now distributed by Green Planet Films.

The DVD is currently available for sale on the Green Planet Films website. Green Planet Films is a San Francisco-based non-profit distributor of nature and environmental DVDs from around the globe.
